In the meantime here follows some information about the Island, the hotel and the activities we offer.

¡°Le Grand Bleu¡± offers 15 bungalows:

- 5 family bungalows with 1 double bed and 3 single beds;

- 8 standard bungalows with 1 double bed;

- 2 ¡°randonneurs¡± bungalows - simple and minimalist bungalows for itinerant travellers.

Bungalows have airy rooms and they are comfortable.

If you¡¯d like an air-conditioned bungalow it will costs 10 euro more per night.

Bungalows have private bathroom and warm water shower (except the 2 randonneurs).

All bungalows have a terrace with sea view.

Every terrace has an hammock and a deckchair.

Inside the bungalows there is a fridge, a mini strongbox, a clothes stand and a double bed with a mosquito curtain.

The price for a standard bungalow is 59 euro, for 2 people, for 1 night (1 double bed).

It¡¯s possible to add 1 more single bed inside a standard bungalow.

The cost for the 3rd bed is 10 euro.

Family bungalows, if booked for 2 people, cost 59 euro for 1 night.

Every family bungalow has 1 double bed and 3 single beds, each of the 3 single bed occupied has an additional cost of 15 euro

Half board: breakfast + one meal (lunch or dinner at your choice) costs 13 euro.

We also offer a menu for children, till 10 years-old, at 6 euro.

Your transfers from the airport to the hotel, and back (journey there and back) cost 11 euro per person.

Your transfers are made by ¡°Le Grand Bleu¡± with a 4x4 car or a mini bus.

In order to avoid mishaps we kindly invite you to inform us, 24 hours before your arrival, about the exact timetable of your flight.

If you¡¯d like an air-conditioned bungalow it costs 10 euro more per night .

The 2 ¡°randonneurs¡± bungalows are small and comfortable.

They cost 30 euro for 2 people, for 1 night (1 double bed).

Please consider that only the ¡°randonneurs¡± bungalows don¡¯t have warm water, fridge and mini strongbox.

Inside a ¡°randonneurs¡± bungalows it¡¯s NOT possible to add single beds

Restaurant and bar overlook the bungalows and they are at the Edge of the Swimming Pool, as you can see from the pictures.

The swimming pool is 8 metres x 10 metres, and there is also a Jacuzzi.

The swimming pool is always open.

The restaurant is at your disposal at lunch time and at dinner time, we offer Madagascan and European dishes.

If you are a fisherman you could eat what you¡¯ve caught, anyway we offer a lot of fresh fish dishes.

You can reach the beach on foot in 4 minutes, through a tree-lined road.

The journey takes just the time to get down to the hill where the bungalows, Bar, Restaurant and pool are located.

The beach is 1 km long.

It¡¯s deserted as we are the only hotel that overlook this beach.

During your stay we will be glad to show you the various things to do and places to visit in the island.

¡°Le Grand Bleu¡± is located in the northern part of Nosy-be, in the Andilana area, the most beautiful beach of the island.

On the Andilana¡¯s beach you will find restaurants like ¡°CHEZ LOULOU¡± and ¡°ERNEST¡± the king of lobster.

Very close to ¡°Le Grand Bleu¡± there is a good diving centre; it¡¯s well equipped for dipping and managed by guys who know very well the local ocean floor. If you are interested in this activity please feel free to ask us about their prices.

¡°Le Grand Bleu¡± has one seat and double-seat Kayaks.

With a Kayak it¡¯s possible to reach the coral reef in front of the beach¡¯s hotel.

Prices half a day:

one seat Kayak ¨C 7 euro

double-seat Kayak ¨C 14 euro

¡°Le Grand Bleu¡± has also:

a) a catamaran for fishing (made by Fontaine Pajot). The catamaran has 4 cabins for 2 people each. One day with the catamaran costs 750.00 euro - all included.

b) a catamaran Lagoon 410 very well equipped. The catamaran¡¯s booked by 6 people, from the hotel to Mitsio Island or Radama Island, costs 650.00 a day, all included.

With the catamaran Lagoon 410 it¡¯s also possible to reach Nosy Fannihy island for a one day excursion. The cost is 35 euro, and includes lunch, beverage, flippers and mask.

c) Moreover ¡°Le Grand Bleu¡± organizes deep-sea fishing for maximum 4 people:

half a day 320 euro

full day 420 euro

Lunch and beverage are included.

The fishing boat has a 130 CV engine, cabin and awning.

The fishing equipment is by Penn Inter and Shimano.

Finally the hotel organizes a 3-hour tour with quads (Adventure circuit or Mount Passot).

With a guide it¡¯s possible to visit the sacred lakes, the lemur¡¯s village ecc.

A quad can carry 2 adults. The price for the driver is 45 euro, and 20 euro for the passenger.

The hotel offers a laundry service, a boutique, games, a library for free, and we can send your postcards,

We can also address you to local organizers for tours like:

Nosy Komba e Nosy Tanikely (25 euro per person) ¨C Nosy Iranja (38 euro per person) ¨C Lokobe¡¯s reserve (20 euro per person).

If you need to move from the ¡°Le Grand Bleu¡± there are always taxis available close to the hotel, and anyway we can call a taxi for you.

Cell-phones work at ¡°Le Grand Bleu¡± (Orange and SFR).

¡°Le Grand Bleu¡± is open all year round.
